Hey Guys! I bought the Illamasqua skin base foundation a little while ago to try it out and to give it a fair review I wore it for a couple of weeks and tried it over different primers to see how it holds up. I also chose not to use concealer or setting powder to see how the product would stand alone.
First of all this is a very thick foundation with very buildable coverage, I really wouldn't use this as an every day foundation due to the fact it is so thick but it's great for nights out or even just days you're looking for a really full coverage.
I really loved this foundation, my skin looked absolutely flawless and not oily in the slightest. The only downside was that after a few hours of wear the product started to really cling to my pores on my cheeks right next to my nose as shown above.
I forgot to take a proper photo so here's a little snapchat one! I honestly had so much redness in my face which the skin base flawlessly covered up without having to use any concealer at all. I would absolutely buy this product again, it costs around £32 which is pricey for a foundation but my skin honestly looked healthy, dewy and it felt like silk.
