It's All Okay!

Hey Guys! So my blog actually reached 2000 views recently (yay!) and I thought that now is a better time than any to talk about what I think about beauty/body image given that I talk a lot about make up and skin care. I honestly don't think you absolutely need make up or good skin care to be beautiful, it's all about what makes you feel good about yourself and what makes you comfortable. I wear make up because it's fun to play around with new looks and new products but truthfully I only wear it maybe once a week. I don't wear make up because I need to impress anyone else and I really don't care if people see me with a bare face and a spot outbreak! However this doesn't mean that if you wear make up every day of the week that you aren't beautiful!

I'm 21 years old, I'm 5ft 4 and I have no idea how much I weigh and I have stretch marks but I really don't care. I've accepted that I am never going to get any younger or any taller and of course I have days when I feel like nothing looks good on me and I don't fill things out in the same way Kim Kardashian does. As a whole I am pretty comfortable with the body I have and if I ever do want to change any part of it it'll be because I want to and not to benefit someone else.

Regardless of you age, race, gender or size it's important to stick to whatever makes YOU happy and not someone else. If you want to change then do it for yourself and not because someone else has called you fat or ugly etc. I know it's hard for most people to like themselves but it's important to know that you're not the only one that dislikes things about themselves. Curvy wouldn't shouldn't bash skinnier women and skinnier women shouldn't bash curvy women, every shape and size is gorgeous there isn't just one correct body shape/size that everyone has to adhere to.

Just try and remember that no one else can tell you how you look and their opinion does not define you. Life's too short to spend it hating how you look! Try to surround yourself with supportive and loving people.

If any of you struggle in any way with bad skin, weight, an eating disorder of any kind, depression and so on, no matter how small you think it is you should speak to your friends/family or doctor about it, you're not the only one and there is support and help out there for everyone!

Here's a collection of photo's of myself and my favorite people looking silly and loving it!
