Glamour Beauty Power List!

So you guys may know about the Glamour Edit boxes by Latest In Beauty and how amazing they are! The last box had brand names such as Illamasqua, Rimmel, Toni & Guy and a few more, This new box has seven products (eight if you count the Muslin Cloth by Liz Earle.) It cost £15.99 from the Latest In Beauty website and it took two days to arrive with free shipping! The box also includes a free  12 month subscription to Glamour Magazine via iphone/ipad.

I personally love the packaging of these boxes, the cover is white with neon pink, black and silver writing.

The first product I tried was the Mascara Off - Eye Makeup Remover Wipes by Eyeko. (RRP £6) There are ten wipes included in the packet and you simply press a single wipe onto your eye area for about 5 seconds then start to rub away the make up. I usually go through a couple of wipes when I'm trying to remove eye shadow, eyeliner as well as mascara but I truthfully only used one wipe and the results were amazing. These wipes cut down on the time you spend rubbing away your make up and don't leave an oily residue, I would definitely recommend.

Maybelleine Stripped Nudes - 710 Sultry Sands. (RRP £6.99) I believe this is the lightest shade of the Stripped Nudes collection, it's very sheer and moisturizing. I would have preferred a slightly darker shade but I do still like this product, it doesn't dry out your lips and last for about 2-3 hours. It's also in such lovely sleek packaging and it's great for a drugstore brand.

Philip Kingsley - Daily Damage Defence Conditioning Spray. (RRP £7.50) This is an anti breakage, heat protecting conditioning spray. This product does have silicone in the ingrediants so if you're sensitive to this I'd steer clear. This is a spray bottle which ensures the product comes out in a mist so you don't accidentally apply too much which I'm usually guilty of. I really haven't noticed a massive difference since using this product, it's great for heat protection but as for anti breakage I really haven't seen much change.

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer. Travel size at 30ml. (RRP £19) In all honesty this isn't the best primer I've ever used but I tend to use oil free primers. It was very lightweight and smooth however after a couple of hours my skin was really shiny and oily. My make up felt like it was literally sliding off my face which is a shame. This would be great for anyone who doesn't get as oily as I do but I think in the future I may give the oil free primer a try!

James Read - Sleep Mask Tan. I am very naturally pale and I don't use any self tanner but I gave this little number a try! The product is a gel which you massage onto your skin and leave over night, it dries in very quickly so it's comfortable to wear to bed. It is very moisturizing and doesn't have the same unfortunate smell most tanners do. The sleep mask leaves a lovely glow on your skin very similar to the finish of a BB cream. I personally wouldn't use this product in the future but purely because I just don't like to look sun kissed.

Bourjois - 1 seconde mascara (RRP £9.99) This mascara is perfect for everyday use,it's not too heavy on your eyes and gives your eyelashes great volume without clumping for a very natural look. The brush also has little spheres for ease of application. I personally loved this mascara and I honestly have no complaints although I wouldn't say this is the mascara for you if you're looking for a more dramatic look.

Liz Earle - Cleanse and Polish, Hot Cloth Cleanser 30ml and Muslin Cloth (RRP £5.50) This is the product I was most excited for, I have never tried any Liz Earle products and I didn't want to purchase a full size bottle until I knew it would work for me so this sample size was perfect. The cleanser is so creamy, I fell in love! My skin felt immediately smoother, cleaner and extremely radiant. I have combination skin so I have an oily t-zone and I'm dry everywhere else and honestly this was perfect all over. I felt my t-zone wasn't overly oily and my dry areas were well moisturized and my skin felt so fresh. I wasn't too fond of the Muslin Cloth however, I found it was slightly rough on my drier areas.

I'm so sorry this is such a long post and if you made it to the end then I am eternally grateful! I was just far too excited to get my hands on this box and to get stuck into each product.
