First of all, let's all appreciate how beautiful this box is designed by Karen Millen. I think it's so pretty that I actually prefer the box to any of the products in side!
So as many of you know the Glossybox is a monthly subscription or you can buy a one off box if you fancy. It's essentially beauty products sent to your door every month, you have no idea what the products are going to be which I find quite exciting. I'm a confessed shopaholic so spending money in general excites me.
Truthfully I'm a little disappointed with my products this month as they're not really things I will use but here's a quick review anyway.
First product up is the L'Oreal Professionnel Paris Mythic Oil Nourishing Oil. I personally will not be using this product, I have greasy type hair so oil based products don't work for me. The L'Oreal website says this product has a blend of avocado oil and grape-seed oil. You can apply 1-2 pumps onto the ends of your damp hair before you blow dry or you can apply it to dry hair to seal split ends and eliminate frizz.
This is the More Brows by Model Co. I am so disappointed with this, I love brow products so much and I was excited when I heard there would be one in this month's box but unfortunately they sent me the shade medium/dark which is basically black. I of course as a redhead can't use this but it could possibly come in handy for Halloween, who knows. You can do a little quiz on the Glossybox website and you can state you skin type and hair color so I'm not sure why I was still sent the darkest product.
Nails Inc Matte Top Coat. This is exactly what it says, a top coat of polish to give your nails a matte finish. You are only required to use one coat of this polish so I'd say the product would last you a while. This is a great product, it's long lasting and I think with most matte top coats your nails go back to being smooth rather than matte after a day or so but this one by Nails Inc does last a few more days than any other top coats I've tried.
These are the Skinpep Brightening Enzyme & Acid Peel and the Dark Circle Eraser samples. I'm a little nervous about the acid peel because it sounds terrifying! The sachet claims the product will target dark spots and dissolve dead skin to leave soft bright vibrant skin. The only reason I haven't tried this product yet is because I only just used my Glamglow mask yesterday and I don't like to do too many skin treatments in the one week. The Dark Circle Eraser ingredients such as witch hazel, red ginseng and cucumber. This product is just a cream that can be used as is or it can be put in the fridge for a cooling effect to reduce redness and puffiness around the eye area, this product seems less terrifying!
The last product is the Nivea 3 in 1 Micellar Cleansing Water. This is my favorite product in the box, I was actually considering buying the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water but then this Nivea one arrived in the post instead and I am loving it. The water is used to remove make up from your skin but it also moisturizes while it tackles dirt, you don't have to wash your face after using this product. The Micellar Cleansing Water has ingredients such as Dexpanthernol and Grape Seed Oil, these are used to break down the make up on your skin so it's easier to remove. I honestly love this product, my skin usually breaks out so easily with removers but this one made my skin feel so refreshed and there was hardly any redness on my skin and it definitely felt softer.
Overall this wasn't my favorite Glossybox but I still love getting them every month and I'm already excited for October's box.
Thank you so much for reading!
